Matthew is officially 5 weeks old now and since it has been almost that long since my last post and the kids are both sleeping (wonder how long that will last?) it is about time that I get on here and update everyone on the last month of our lives!
Overall life with 2 kids has been amazing! Sure their have been the sleepless nights, birth announcements and thank yous to write, and the mounds of laundry and dishes waiting in the sink...but as hard as it has been for me I have kept telling myself that those things can wait! And it isn't like they have a choice either b/c little Matthew has really developed a love of wanting to being held all the time. Thank goodness for the lovely sling that my mom and I made- it sure has come in handy...I really need to post some pictures of that on here too.
Matthew has his 1 month check up later today but I'm guessing he is almost 12lbs now. Little man LOVES to eat and I can't believe how big he has gotten in the past week alone. I am nursing and I can't believe how easy it has been this time around....but I find myself saying that a lot lately. Maybe it is because Matthew is more laid back, or maybe it is because Mark and I are more relaxed- who knows?
All I know is that life is really good right now and that God has really blessed our little family!
